SPARS new Local Connect program allows the 32 year old recording association to support the efforts of regional groups, feature their activities and explore ways to work together. SPARS believes the future of our Industry will be built from the bottom up by local groups and committed professionals. SPARS Local Connect news and activity is available on our Regional News pages. To date, SPARS Local Connect has teamed with the following regional groups:

Sonic Scoop – SonicScoop is a pioneering online destination that provides New York City’s thriving music and sound production community with a vital central hub. A comprehensive media company, SonicScoop was founded by two of the music industry’s leading technology journalists — Janice Brown (EQ, Mix, Pro Sound News) and David Weiss (NYC Editor, Mix) — and web + audio specialist/CTO Mark Kondracki (OutLoud Audio, JumpNYC).

Philadelphia Recording Community (PRC) – The PRC is a community of recording artists, producers and engineers interested in building and promoting a stronger music community.

E.A.R.S. Chicago -Engineering And Recording Society of Chicago. EARS is an independent non-profit group dedicated to the advancement of excellence in audio production.
