What is it?

ManhatPro is an exclusive group of accomplished and talented producers, composers, songwriters, musicians and engineers who are looking to take their careers to the next level and are willing to share their experiences in order to help out others. There is an egalitarian “help your brother” selflessness to the organization. Everyone’s door is always open.

How often do you guys meet?

Members meet regularly: formally at ManhatPro meetings (once per quarter or more) and at other industry events, informally in smaller focused breakout groups, electronically via our facebook page, and one-on-one.  Alot of  activity is self-started. If you have a specific need or issue, go around to the members and get information, form a group. Some members have formed business ventures together. There are also standing groups which include the business development group and the film scoring group.

Access to experienced Grammy, Tony, Emmy and Oscar award winning professionals. Networking and branding advice. Connections, connections, connections. Practical advice and insight about engineering, production composition, arranging, software, hardware, mics, interfaces, mixing, plug-ins, etc etc etc. We also have a pool of resources available to our members: Publishing deal(s), music library(s), insurance deals; legal, contractual, and financial advice and discounts on everything from studio time to marketing consultants.
