West L.A. Music recently announced the dates for the 2011 Recording Expo. The well attended seminar and exhibit extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13, 2011. The annual expo includes exhibits by leading recording equipment manufacturers, featuring the latest recording products and technology.
Workshops and seminars are planned by top artists and noted industry professionals,
including Grammy, Emmy, and Oscar winning songwriters, composers, engineers and producers.
The latest recording hardware and software will be presented with special exhibits and presentations, featuring the Pro Tools recording platform and 3rd party applications and plug-ins. An Apple classroom will offer hands on training sessions for Logic and GarageBand.
Last year, the Recording Expo drew thousands of producers, engineers, composers, educators, celebrities, and world-class musicians. Key speakers included multi-platinum producer Michael Lloyd, Emmy Award winning composer Charles Bernstein, multi-platinum producer and engineer Val Garay, and legendary audio pioneer, Rupert Neve.
The Recording Expo will be held at West L.A. Music’s Santa Monica Blvd. location, as well as the adjacent Los Angeles Recreation Center. The Recording Expo is the largest independent consumer music products show in Southern California.
