SPARS’ recent re-design of their site went live this week, with positive comments coming in from members and industry pros alike.
In keeping with SPARS commitment to education, the site will be host to significant new forms of third party content available to members and others who visit the site. In the coming weeks the site will introduce blogs, feature stories, op-ed articles, news releases, product reviews, how to topics and videos by members, engineers, producers, manufacturers, services providers and educators alike. In addition, the site will be actively hosting RSS syndication of existing industry blogs, articles and other content.
The site has been built on the popular open source Word Press platform which allows users to adopt the latest trends, such as Web 2.0 content and beyond. SPARS is committed to providing value added content to its members as well as the recording community. This new Web platform is the first step in fulfilling that goal.
